Inside a soon to be replaced Telecom Central Office. These legacy TDM (Time Division Multiplex) systems will soon be replaced by modern high speed ethernet backbone systems. These DS0, T1 and T3 systems used to represent the telecommunications backbone since the historic implementation of the Northern Telecom DMS switching system back in 1979.
