On June 25, 2006, Canadian National GE C44-9W No. 2606 and GE C40-8M cowl No. 2430 power a westbound freight through Black Canyon west of Ashcroft, British Columbia. On the right is Canadian Pacific’s parallel main line exiting Black Canyon Tunnel and following the Thompson River.
