Refraction of rain over an arcing train

BNSF’s Alliance, Texas, to Portland, Oregon, Q train climbs out of Austin during a brief afternoon storm over Montana Rail Link’s scenic route over Mullan Pass on July 5, 2021. The train is arcing through the big horseshoe curve that circles and then cuts through Iron Ridge between Austin and Weed.
