Autumn In The Highlands
One last post tonight from this weekends trip up to Bear Rocks at Dolly Sods Wilderness in West Virginia.
While this autumn scene may look nice and warm, the reality is it was FREEZING! The temps had dropped into the 30's with winds howling at 20+ mph. At some points the wind was blowing SO hard I could hardly stand still while trying to shoot, and poor Michele was trying to use her tripod which she had to keep a hand on as so it wouldn't blow over.
After spending the day up here with these temps I must admit that I am not looking forward to winter being around the corner.
