Caravanserai On The Silk Road

A caravanserai was a roadside inn where travelers could recover from the day's journey. This Cappadocian caravanserai, known as the Agzikarahan Caravanserai, was built in the 13th Century and served travelers on the Silk Road, which traversed Asia from the Mediterranean Sea to China.
