Walking the old abandoned highway through the old growth Redwoods has been one of my most peaceful experiences. Ever. Getting lost in the surroundings and far and away from the sounds of traffic until all is left is the sound of you're own beating heart and the magnificent calm of this ancient forest. I came upon this pair of spruce trees that were towering in the early mist but at the same time dwarfed by the Redwoods that surrounded them.
