12322 Ribble Steam Railway.

LMS Class27 0-6-0 12322 Pictured hauling the second service of the day down the Preston dock branch line of the Ribble steam railway. The loco was running to commemorate the closure of the Preston to Southport line which was closed 50 years today under the Beeching cuts. The loco was built in 1896 for the Lancashire & Yorkshire railway (L&YR) and numbered 1300

The loco then became 12322 under the ownership of the LMS and finally renumbered 52322 under British railways.
