Winter Sunrise

Today marked a turning point in the year for me - the sun rose as I set off for work and set on my way home. It was cold and clear this morning with some frost and mist, and as the sun came up, it quickly burnt off. I could not resist to stop and take a couple of shots.

 

My hands were freezing too, so I had to be quick. Made it to work in good time too!
