R.A. Christie

My late Father in law, Robert Christie, taken as a boy in Birr, Ireland.

 

The original was a very small 3x2 print, faded and torn. I photographed it with my camera in natural, diffuse light (no scanner).

 

The detail here (seen in the collar) is amazing and the bw tone more natural.

 

Nice bit of bokeh in the background too :-)
