1980 FLT
My FLT taken with a Nikon F4s and Ilford Pan F Plus. Not sure the lens I believe I was holding up and old large format lens but I can't quite recall.... The detail is super on this and I realized how dirty my glass is holding down the negs on the scanner. I will probably re-scan this.
Developed for 15 minutes in Kodak Dk-20:
Prepare:
Kodak DK-20
to
Warm Water ( ~50ºC ) 750 ml
add and dissolve
Metol5.0 grams
Sodium Sulfite ( Anhyd) 100.0 grams
Sodium Metaborate 2.0 grams
Sodium Thiocyanate 0.77 grams
Potassium Bromide0.5 grams
then add Cold Water to make 1,000 ml
Use undiluted for 15 minutes typical agitation.
This developer makes gorgeous negatives from Pan F which I have yet to really see, like this. DK 20 is an old fine grain developer which may not be true with modern emulsions, but the negatives are a thing of beauty. They have a certain chrome sheen.
