An elderly couple who was on welfare had to let go of their important cat in order to enter a facility for the elderly. I learned online that the nurse in charge did her best and managed to leave it at a cat shelter in Osaka, CatsWelcare (CWC).
What a story!
When we watch the video of her, it looks like a relaxing beauty tortoiseshell cat.
We, who love tortoiseshell cats, have been hooked on that figure.
So we went to the CWC shelter immediately.
She seemed to be very cherished at the facility in a good mood, even though she had left her familiar home.
When we call her name, she slowly go to our feet. While stroking her head, we decided to connect the "relay of life" that was connected so far.
And finally, a 13-year-old lady has came to our home.
Her name given by an elderly couple is MEE, a typical name of Japanese cats.
Her sisters, Momo, Misha, Maya and the late Queen Miho are the same "Initial M".

生活保護を受けていたある老夫婦が、高齢者施設に入るために大事な愛猫を手放さざるを得なくなりました。ご夫婦担当の看護師さんが手を尽くして、なんとか大阪のネコ保護施設、CatsWelcare (CWC)に預けられた、という話をSNSで知りました。

紹介された動画を観ると、穏かそうな美サビ。
サビ好きの私たちはその姿に釘付けになりました。
居ても立っても居られず、さっそくCWCに足を運びました。
施設ではとても大事にされている様子で、住み慣れた我が家を離れたにもかかわらず、のんびり機嫌よく過ごしている様子でした。
名前を呼ぶと、ゆっくりと私たちの足元へ。頭を撫でながら、ここまでつながった「命のリレー」を私たちがつなごうと、決意を新たにしました。
そしてついに、１３歳のレディがやってきました。
じいちゃんばあちゃんが付けた名前はみぃ。
彼女の姉妹たち、もも、ミーシャ、マヤそして故ミホ女王と同じ「イニシャルM」です。
以後、お見知りおきを！
