What a cute little fella.
This little Long Tailed Macaque was photographed in the forest near Sepilok in the Far Eastern corner of the island of Borneo. Just standing still and pointing. camera was unbelievably sweaty work, in fact it became so oppressive that even with my eager persuasion I only had a certain amount of enthusiasm and had to head for cover.
As can be seen from the EXIF data I had to use an ISO of 6,400 as it was surprising dark. The youngster also let me get particularly close with just about a 200mm zoom rather than the full 600mm I had been used to with birds.
