We didn't have to go far to see this one.
The Eastern Golden Weaver birds were thankfully plentifully sights during our stay in Zanzibar. In fact the hotel must have been the home of two dozen pairs. So when I had five minutes spare I was often found sitting and watching. This particular one had a habit of perching and flapping its wings in situ. I don't know whether it was done to attract a mate but it did seem odd.
