A return to the hills.
At long last after a five month break following my escapades at the start of the year I have been able to get back out on the hills. Progress was certainly slower than normal (I need to get fit and loose some weight) but with an altitude gain of 3,700 feet and stunning Swiss scenery the hike was definitely a success.
This view shows Mark descending from the summit of the Lauberhorn. We had hiked to a lower hut in glorious sunshine and dumped our rucksacks for the final five hundred feet of ascent.
