Ridiculously Photogenic Dog

This is our dog, Treble. He loves to run in the snow.

 

I got to use my pro-grade autofocus sensor to track Treble on Christmas. I was able to get a good feel for how the system works. The most difficult sort of shot is when the subject is moving directly at you. An autofocus system will adjust but it's still very difficult to get the focal plane right where you want it. This was a luck shot. Conditions were perfect and my autofocus caught Treble right across the face.
