Go! Run. NOW!

Here's a conceptual from That shoot I mentioned in yesterday's upload. It's two frames: One of the scenes at a decent ISO 125 and 6 seconds to capture the forest and light. In the other frame I used a remote strobe to catch Ben (the runner) at 1/60th of a second. I don't know if it was necessary but the ISO was at 2500.

I had to do some trickery with Ben's shadow because to catch his silhouette, the strobe was actually behind him. So Ben would run in front of it (obscuring my view of the flashstand, like in yesterday's upload) and THAT'S when I'd snap the picture. I'll take guesses as to how I handled the shadow :-).

Ben stayed pretty warm despite not wearing a coat and I can just imagine what it looked like to see a guy sprinting back and forth in the park to a strobe. Comments appreciated.
