Soho Stories

This series of diptychs was my final project while studying Reportage Photography at Central Saint Martins, and was further honed while studying with Magnum Photos in Hamburg in June 2015.

I initially began in a blind panic to document venues that had recently closed or were rumoured soon to do so, in my favourite part of London.

My many visits to the area gave some surprises, at times feeling like I was part of a piece of interactive theatre where one venue or person would lead immediately to the next, and at other times perplexing as vital pieces of information turned out not to be true.

While this resulted in many potential stories of the area, this shows one of them, that of the fortunes of Soho.
