'Long Bridge' 21st January 2013

One of Worth Valley's most picturesque Packhorse Bridges.

It forms part of the Packhorse track that was used in the 18th century

to distribute wool for spinning and for the transport of lime from Lancashire.

 

Packhorse bridge. Date uncertain, Single arch spanning approx. 9m.
