DESCRIPTION
In this 360° immersive, interactive and stereoscopic environment, the spectator may progress through the narrative and explore the constituent threads whose aspect and spatial distribution are redefined and recomposed infinitely. Entering this entrancing, generative and stereoscopic environment is like being devoured by a mythical creature that transports you to a never-ending universe.
La Dispersion du Fils is a collection of more than 22,000 sequences from more than 500 movies filmed between 1999 and 2007, most of them used in past LFKs (LFK-la fabriks) performances, related to Achteon's tragedy to which La Dispersion du Fils itself is referring.
Advanced Visualisation and Interaction Environment (AVIE) is the world’s first artistically conceived 360-degree stereoscopic interactive visualisation and audification environment. Thirty or more visitors use polarizing glasses to view the fully surrounding lifelike three-dimensional image.
AVIE: by Jeffrey Shaw with iCinema Centre at University of New South Wales, Sydney.
