GOOD CRACK BAD CRACK

Despite the naff weather this morning I went into Newcastle to meet some of the more intrepid members of the RAMBLE WITH AMBLE group. After standing in the rain for a while we all dispersed to look for photo opportunities befor meeting up again later. Just before I'd taken this shot my tripod fell over sending my two month old camera crashing to the ground. My heart sank but on inspecting the camera there appeared to be no damage and everyting worked as normal. A little later I found myself wandering along the quayside where I spotted Ant desperately looking for something to point his camera at. As we passed a coffee shop it became clear that Phil and Neet were taking shelter from the rain so we joined them. Soon everyone else had desended on the same venue and some good crack ensued. One by one the cameras came out of the bags as we all started snapping abstracts and candid portraits. I decided to use flash and it was at this point I noticed I had damaged the hotshoe, I then noticed the bad crack in the plastic casing on my camera.

Fortunately the camera still works but a repair or replacemnt is going to be required.
