2025 Wheelchair Basketball

The Michigan wheelchair basketball team defeated Michigan State, 51-42, at Crisler Center’s premiere adaptive basketball game. Ultimately, Michigan State’s defense failed to hold and the Spartans lost to the Wolverines. Founded in 2019 by Dr. Feranmi Okanlami, the Michigan wheelchair basketball team assembles University of Michigan faculty and staff, as well as Ann Arbor community members with a passion for basketball and a mission to create an inclusive space that welcomes a variety of physical abilities and disabilities.
