Blimp taking off - heave-ho!

This is was taken with my old P&S camera. If you haven't seen a blimp take off, you're missing a fun thing to watch :-). A bunch of people will pull the blimp and bounce it off the ground a few times. The final bounce makes it pop up into the air and take off, it's really fun to see!

 

I'm hoping to get lucky enough to see another one take off with my new camera. I live near an airport so maybe I'll get lucky. :-)

 

Another fun thing about the blimp is watching my dog chase it across the yard when it flies over. Like she's actually going to catch it, lol.
