Valle di Cadore is a village in the Dolomitic region of Veneto, northern Italy. San Martino is the Catholic church sitting on a hill overlooking the valley below and the Dolomites beyond That church was built, destroyed, and rebuilt three times between the 13th and 16th centuries. The ancient Romans constructed a military defensive position here and added a road to reach the Via Claudia. This photo was taken in late October.
