Knubley(Brutonian)-7-JNT252E(LWY820D)-Wincanton-1976a
Brutonian no 7 (JNT 252E)
This Bedford VAL14 / Willowbrook was originally registered LWY 820D, but there seems to be some uncertainty as to with whom. Both the books that I consulted say that it was Phillipson of Shiptonthorpe, but it has been suggested that it was Phillipson of Goldthorpe, Rotherham, trading as Dearneways. Whichever Phillipson it was, he didn't use the vehicle and sold it to Whittle of Highley who re-registered it as JNT 252E. It later passed to Wakes of Sparkford, from where Brutonian acquired it.
In Wincanton on service 8 in 1976.
