"This is Island Arch as it stands today...for the time being anyway (See below for last years shot). I must admit spending the night there and watching the passage of the moon across the sky actually gives you a sense of the speed of the erosion and how dynamic this place is. This was a 6 hour exposure at a little over f16 on HP5 Plus processed at n+1taken with a linhof Technika iv and an old Angulon 90mm lens. Focusing is was really difficult as the old Linhof lens only has 6.7 as the brightest f stop but I kind of like the flared ends on the trails anyway. "

The film was redscaled and put through an Olympus OM10, then rewound and used in a four lens Nimslo stereo camera, which takes four frames per shot, giving plenty of scope for interesting image combinations.
