Constructing a Spot Light at 1:24th scale

I'm not sure why I'm going down the path of making really small, detailed diorama items, but here is the latest piece from that journey: a studio spot light with a tripod.

It's all basic material... aluminum, brass and plastic tubing, styrene plastic strips, jewelry making pieces and found objects.

All done with an x-acto knife and tiny drill bits.

Oddly enough, the most time consuming part was creating the Y configuration for the tripod base.

Now lets see... how about a movie camera crane and a mic boom?

Sounds good to me!
