Wushu at the Solano Avenue Lunar New Year Celebration, Albany, February 10, 2008
These performers, or athletes, you might say, are from Wushu West. We were told by the MC that this sport/art of wushu will be a demonstration event at the Beijing Olympics and that two of their members (one of whom might be the flying upside-down gentleman) will be participating.
If I'm not mistaken, this is the first time Albany has had a Chinese New Year parade. This scene took place after the parade.
