Came across a Monopoly-themed photo while swimming through my contact J.R. Orci's stream (please check out his photos they are awesome) a few days back. And as a collector of Monopoly sets myself I decided to shoot something similar over the weekend in keeping with my laid back, unwind mood.
That particular photo which served as an inspiration for this one featured a Toyota Prius game piece from the Monopoly Here and Now Edition. For my version I used my Monopoly Game Collector's Embossed Tin - Train Edition. Aside from the usual game pieces it also came with this train game piece, all of which were in a bronze finish.
Had been thinking about this shoot all day. But was so sleepy that I took a siesta after lunch and woke up much later than I had wanted too. But I think the timing couldn't have been better as I had this glorious sunlight from the setting sun at my disposal. I reflected some rays off the lid of the tin can to produce the ray of light shining across the hotel on Mediterranean Avenue.
Hope you all had a great weekend and I wish you all a stress-free and productive weekend ahead.
