Passover at the progressive Beit Ha'Chidush community of Amsterdam in the Uilenburger synagogue. The building used to house a more conservative community before WWII, most of whose members were deported and murdered. The second floor, once used as the women's gallery but now empty, offers an amazing view of the happenings below. At least 100,000 people saw this photo - it appeared on the front page of Het Parool, a local daily.
