Lego BR VDA Van Wagon

The VDA van wagon was part of British Rail's effort to build standardized air-braked wagons capable of 75 mph. They were built between 1969 to 1978 and have worn many different liveries. The ubiquitous "Railfreight" grey/red livery is shown here. This build differed quite a lot from my LDD version (shown elsewhere in my photo stream) and I think it is much improved from the digital version. It is modular and therefore suitable for "assembly-line" production (when I have enough brick!)

*edit* I've just realised I've attached the two middle door panels reversed--the door handles should be closer to the wagon ends. Ah well...only a detail a "rivet-counter" will pick up--but at least I've beaten them to it! ;)
