First portrait in my home studio
This shot was taken by my wife in our home. I recently aquired a dual permanent light softbox set in order to have more control for portraiture at home and on location. This is my very first serious attempt with studio photography. I love the control, the colour accuracy (not visible in this shot!), and the sharpness of the results. The quality of the light is a bit harsher than I expected, but I can do something about that. I still have lots and lots to learn about placement of the lights and working with reflectors. The myriad of options and control is also a disadvantage, in a way.
This was processed in Nik Silver Efex, Nik Sharpener and Lightroom.
