Here's a good indication of why I don't shoot landscapes - i lack the necessary vision to produce effective works in that genre - these images show something else altogether (not assisted by a free, but pretty rank awful film scanner...).
So, these are the legendary Taupo photos that I have been promising to develop for months now - the film was expired even before I first loaded it into my camera, and having just got it back from the lab yesterday, i have realised that it has been partially exposed for years - it begins with photos from my sister-in-law's wedding... Thus, this and the partnering image are a brief interlude in the Brutalism & Bubbles series (of which I still have furhter images to post.
Anyway, these are taken at the Craters of the Moon, a kind of natural volcanic theme park where you get to wander around (sticking to the paths of course) amongst various steaming craters, blow-holes, and bubbling mud-pools...
