Glendale Masonic Temple, Arthur George Lindley 1928

The Glendale Masonic Temple was designed in an art deco style by Arthur George Lindley in 1928 of the firm Lindley & Selkirk. When completed, the Temple was the tallest building and had the largest auditorium, the fastest elevator and the largest enclosed space in the City of Glendale. The temple was listed in the Glendale Register of Historic Resources in 1977 (No. 15). The firm also designed the Alexander Theater (shortened to the "Alex" to fit on the marquee) in 1925.

In 2015, Developer Rick Caruso purchased the temple, two adjacent buildings, and the vacant lot next door with plans to re-purpose the property into a mixed-use complex that will incorporate creative office space with room for retail and restaurants.
