The World's Last Edwardian Stacked Theatre

The Winter Garden Theatre, Yonge Street, Toronto. Over the Elgin Theatre.

 

Built in 1912-14. Restored in the 80s,

 

Among other things, 5,000 branches of beech leaves were harvested, preserved, painted, fire-proofed and suspended from the Winter Garden ceiling.
