Fiesta
Week 1/52
This week’s theme for my 52 project group is “fiesta.” Rather than using the tradition definition of party, I decided to use Fiesta dishes for my shot. This line of dishes is made by the Homer Laughlin China Company of Newell, West Virginia. They are known for their variety of colours and were originally introduced in the 1930’s. The dishes stopped production in 1973, but were reintroduced in 1986. Our collection are all modern dishes produces in the last 20 years. You can see the Fiesta seal on the bottom of the cup in the upper right hand corner.
Good luck to my Flickr friends with their photo projects this year! I look forward to your photography.
