[ 29/52 2024 ] Rue Saint-Antoine

Second Best "52 Weeks Project"

Since I have been joining the 52 Weeks Project on Flickr it has happened several times that I had to chose between two or more self portraits that week. A difficult choice. The solution is to create a set of all good alternatives. Life is full of choices and sometimes a week has too much opportunities. This is one of those alternatives, the second best. And sometimes just as good.

A selfie during my mid summer space invader safari in Paris...

Location: Rue Saint-Antoine, Paris (F)

Rue Saint-Antoine: Rue Saint-Antoine is an ancient road in the 4ème arrondissement of Paris. It is one of the components of the main "East-West" axis of Paris. The street starts at the Place de la Bastille and ends at the Saint-Paul metro station, where, under the name of Rue de Rivoli, it extends as far as the Place de la Concorde. This "east-west" axis extends eastward, beyond the Place de la Bastille, by the Rue du Faubourg-Saint-Antoine.

Located in both quartiers Arsenal and Saint-Gervais. The street lenght is 603 meters and the width 21 meters.
