In den Ouden Marskramer
In den Ouden Marskramer is a souvenir shop in the Marerijk, located between the entrance and exit of the Fairytale Forest. The building was inaugurated in 1977 as a courtyard with counters for information and souvenir sales and was originally designed by Ton van de Ven. Today, the Marskramer is a themed shop that mainly sells merchandise from the Fairytale Forest, Fairytale Tree and Raveleijn, but also Pardoes articles and more general souvenirs such as postcards, photo books and DVDs.
The inside of the building is designed by Jeroen Verheij and bears the theme of fairy tale books; shelves consist of piled up fairy tale books and doors and walls are printed with fairy tales.
