Winter Efteling 2020/2021
The Warme Winter Weide (Meadow) is the big novelty of the Winter Efteling 2020-2021. Due to the corona measures, the large tent on Speelweide had to make way this year for a field with campfires, snow-covered Christmas trees and stalls with food, drinks and souvenirs.
The Efteling winter season started 19/11/2020. Although the Warme Winter Meadow was born out of necessity - the old Ice Palace was not corona proof - the public is enthusiastic about the change. For the Warme Winter Meadow, Efteling has combined several existing elements. In the middle of the oval-shaped meadow there is a podium with two large campfires on either side. The field is surrounded by covered terraces, pine trees and wooden huts with winter delicacies.
We work with a fixed walking route and a separate entrance and exit. Room has been made for toilet trucks at the edge of the field. During busy periods, the Warme Winter Meadow can be temporarily closed to ensure that keeping a meter and a half distance remains possible.
Efteling miniatures are sold at one of the stalls. An Efteling Christmas village has also been built. [ Loopings 11/2020 ]
