The Sprookjesboom (Fairytale Tree) is the 27th fairy tale representation and this story telling tree is always surrounded by interested listeners of all ages.
Sprookjesboom
The Sprookjesboom (Fairytale Tree) is the twenty-seventh fairytale on the route in the Fairytale Forest. The tree has been chatting with children since the beginning of 2010, just past the bend in the path after The New Clothes of the Emperor. The Fairytale Tree in the Fairy Tale Forest is based on the eponymous tree in the television series Fairy Tale Tree.
The Fairytale Tree is designed as a large oak-like tree with a moving face in the trunk and a large leafy and also moving crown. For the tree a widening of the main route was made, where a few low benches have been placed. A narrow stream of water in a rocky channel prevents visitors from getting too close to the tree.
The Fairy Tale Tree can draw from a library of 80 stories about the adventures of the Fairytale Tree figures, and tells them in a loud tone to the accompanying visitor.
