Kabouterdorp - Efteling (Netherlands)

One of the two gnomes in front of the gnome houses in the Gnome Village, two of the in total 13 gnomes living in this part of the Fairytale Forest. The gnome in the boat is fishing and almost falls asleep. Children can shout at him and as a reaction he wakes up, looks up and his fishing rod moves. The gnome in the background is busy preparing his pipe. The wreath on the door is part of Winter Efteling decoration.
This house was built in 1980 and was designed by Anton Pieck but carried out by Ton van de Ven.
Inside the Inside the mushroom is above a gnome writing. These houses were renovated in the end of 2018 and have a few new features like this spider going up and down in front of the gnome preparing a pipe.
