For some reason aires (or rest areas or road side parkings) are almost never a good place for photos. You drive through a beautiful region with scenic vistas and paradisiacal landscapes and you are fortunate to find an aire to park to take some photos it is most of the time very disappointing. Same here along the D840. Even Mister Bloomingdales didn't like the view as there was no view at all.
We stayed here a couple of minuts to continue the roadtrip with some beautiful photo opportunities while driving.
Roadtrip Day 3 18/06/2015
We left Rocamadour at 11h35 and after visiting a view point to see Rocamadour from a distance we went Eastbound via Gramat, Figeac, Capdenac, Décazeville and Rodez. After a McLunch we drove via Ségur to our final destination for this day; Millau where we arrived at 16h38 after driving 186 kilometers (planning was 180 kilometers).
