In 1900 a new church was built in which the congregation still worships.
In November of 1903, St. Mary’s church was completely destroyed by fire. The property and cemetery of St. Mary’s parish was deeded to St. Peter’s congregation in December of 1903.
In 1922 excavations were begun for the current St. Peter’s school with gymnasium and auditorium.
In 1981 the school merged into the Unified Catholic Parish Schools or UCPS, operated by the three parishes of Beaver Dam.
