Gazelle Emblem
This shot was taken at the Brisbane RACQ Motofest, and is the bonnet/hood emblem of a fine looking old car that I didn't note, and is typical of the finery that cars sported in the old days, and have subsequently been banned as that are not pedestrian-friendly.
It did remind me of a Singer Gazelle also released as a Hillman Gazelle in Australia, back when I was interested in buying my first car. I didn't end up getting one due to the cost.
This site lists the features of the day, and is interesting to compare to modern cars as we know them.
Optional extras include whitewall tyres, a Smith's Radiomobile and a clock.
It is fun to look back.
