Childs Store - Brooklyn

Many think this plaque indicates a location of the famed chain Child's restaurant, but in fact it was a "ladies tailor business" at 219 South 4th Street, close to the base of the Williamsburg Bridge

Perhaps the mannequin in the window is paying homage to the building's history.
