(Yellowstone, Wyoming) Tor poses for an image for our (likely-never-to-be-realized) photo book project ("10000 clicks - how to have fun with your dSLR"), this one on camera angles.

We spent an afternoon and an early morning in the park, exploting the low sun to the fullest. This shot is from Grand Prismatic Spring, the largest hot spring in the park and the US in general. A beautiful pond of bacteria and chemicals, the center is apparently azure blue, but was covered by steam today.

My camera and camera strap got a few soakings as I kept trying to get it even closer to the shallow pool. Green-gelled flash on camera pointed to the left to give the footpath a little extra light.

Commenting guideline: Only sarcastic, sardonic, ironic, scalding, sadistic, cynical, caustic or wry smartass comments please. If you like a photo, fave it as well. C'meon! Gimme your best constructive censuring! (Seriously. Let's have a few laughs. The usual comments are sweet but boring.)
