Sunrise Over Traigh Bheag Beach, Isle of Harris
On Monday morning, I took my workshop clients along to one of my favourite beaches in the world, Traigh Bheag on the stunning Isle of Harris.
For once however, I opted not to shoot the beach because it was the background that caught my attention the most. I am a sucker for beautiful layering and as the sun rose to my right, the shadow and layering of the spits of land that jutted out into the water were simply too good not to capture them on camera, so I quickly got to work.
Every time I spend time on Harris and Lewis, the island constantly surprises me with another new scene, another opportunity to photograph and document an ever changing landscape. The colours and light were superb. I hope that you like it.
