The Reflection of Passo Giau, The Dolomites, Italy
UK & International Landscape Photography Workshops & 1-2-1 Private Tuition Days
With a lot of sadness, I have had to cancel this year's autumnal workshop to the Dolomites due to Covid-19 but I have since decided to venture back on my own to discover more of this wonderful landscape. I shall create another workshop for Oct 2021.
There is something about Italy that I absolutely adore. The food and wine, the stylish nature of how the Italians dress and of course, the cars but it is the outstanding scenery that impresses me the most and The Dolomites are no exception.
Take this scene here. This is a reflection of the iconic Passo Giau taken from the water's edge of a partially frozen pool. It was fair to say that with no clouds in the sky to speak of, that the temperatures were a tad chilly but what a view, what a view indeed. Isn't it spectacular?
I cannot wait to return with a camera in hand. I only hope that Canon's latest EOS R5 mirrorless beast is ready for purchase before autumn.
Canon EOS R
Canon EF 24-70mm f/4 @ 24mm
f/11
1/50
ISO100
