West Burton Falls (Cauldron Falls), Yorkshire Dales
Well, what a lovely place to spend a morning today and the first location of three on my one day Yorkshire Dales workshop today. This gorgeous waterfall is just a thirty-second walk from the car park (coordinates 54.276202, -1.972721).
The funny thing is that I have never visited this waterfall before but having seen a photo of it somewhere a few weeks ago now, I knew that I had to include it on a Yorkshire Dales workshop and what an inspired decision that was.
The sun was streaming through the leaves to the right of the waterfall and that helped to illuminate the gorgeous red water at the base of the waterfall. Using the wonderful moss covered rocks and tree trunks in the foreground allowed me to create some interest and a base for the waterfall to sit above.
Overall an awesome place to spend a couple of hours on a stunning summer's day. I hope you all had a great weekend too :D
