Justin Bieber San Diego Sports Arena Limited Edition Poster Art
Limited Edition, not-for-retail poster art that I did of Justin Bieber to commemorate his show at the San Diego Sports Arena on October 30th, 2010. I was inspired by the works of icon makers like Warhol, Sheppard Farey and countless photographers of popular culture.
Referencing a publicity photo, I sketched out the artwork in Photoshop CS4 and finalized it in Illustrator CS4.

My goal with this piece is to present Bieber as an emerging icon with respect--except for the bright colors that reflect his youth, there are no definite clues to what style of music Mr. Bieber is known for. I believe that exciting chapter has yet to be written.
