BrickWorld 2016
BrickWorld Chicago is a wrap! We're all super sad that its over but I can easily say this was the best year yet! Met some amazing builders I've admired for years, hung out with friends I havent seen in a while and was nominated for 4 awards including BrickWorld Master.
This was also the first year that I lead a round table that included alot of females in the LEGO Community. We talked about how to stand out from the boys in a male dominant hobby; the challenges of being a female at a major event like BrickWorld and how to overcome it. I also led the first Painting class where we painted pictures of minifigures on canvas! Its been crazy busy the past few days and we've all barely slept but it was well worth it!
